Cherwell Cats Protection join the Animal Finders network.

28 March 2009
Cats ProtectionCherwell Cats Protection have joined the Animal Finders network today. This means that they will automatically notified when any cats are reported as lost or found in the area.

We'll also be handling the reporting of found cats on their behalf. In addition to this, we'll be developing a new section on the Animal Finders website that will feature cats that Cats Protection have available for re-homing.

The Cherwell branch of the Cats Protection charity covers the Banbury, Bicester and Brackley area. Established locally in 2006, the charity works through a network of fosterers, who provide temporary accommodation for needy cats until safe, loving and permanent homes can be found for them.

The fosterers are supported by other volunteers who concentrate on fund-raising. More volunteers are always welcome, in particular anyone with practical skills to lay bases for cat cabins or to repair them.
